CPPM cannot connect to Aruba Activate context server
Environment Information : This applies to CPPM 6.3 version.
Symptoms : We would see the below message in the Event Viewer.
Cause : This is caused because the Data interface (if data port is not configured then the traffic will go through Management interface) cannot reach the IP of Aruba activate.
NOTE: If Data port is not configured, by default all traffic goes through Management port and for the above issue management port must have access to IP of the context server .
We must have connectivity to activate.arubanetworks.com (220.127.116.11) via port 80/443.
Resolution : We can create firewall rules to allow this traffic via the data port.
Question: How often does CPPM communicate with Activate.
It is a configurable option under cluster wide parameters.
