How to backup the ClearPass Guest configuration.

Navigate to ClearPass Guest --> Administration --> Import Configuration --> Create a customized backup.

We can either download the complete guest configuration backup or we can create custom backup with required options enabled and download the backup.

Creating a Complete backup:

You will be able to upload the collected ClearPass Guest backup under ClearPass Guest --> Administration --> Import Configuration --> Upload file.

If the size of the backup file is more than 15 MB(default), we can use the below method to increase file upload size.

Navigate to ClearPass Policy Manager --> Administration --> Server Manager --> Server Configuration --> Click on the server and navigate to Service Parameters. Select Service as ClearPass System Services and increase the File upload size.

If the backup file size is more than 256MB, we need to upload the backup to a FTP or web-server and can restore using URI.
