Clearpass OnGuard tool used for posture (health) check on Windows clients

From 6.5.0, a new parameter, DESKTOPSHORTCUT, was added to the ClearPass OnGuard Unified Agent installer for Windows. This parameter controls whether to create a desktop shortcut or not. A value of 1 will create a desktop shortcut when OnGuard is installed. A value of 0 will not create the desktop shortcut. The default value is 1 (creates shortcut).

To install OnGuard on windows client without creating desktop shortcut, use one of the following commands:

Command to use when using exe file to install OnGuard:

ClearPassOnGuardInstall.exe /DESKTOPSHORTCUT=0

Command to use when using msi file to install OnGuard:

msiexec /I ClearPassOnGuardInstall.msi DESKTOPSHORTCUT=0

We can verify the OnGuard installation and options used from %ProgramData%\Aruba Networks\ClearpassOnGuard\install-ok.txt  log file.
