How to use Gmail as SMTP server on CPPM

This article talks about adding a GMAIL SMTP host to CPPM server.

 

Environment: This Article is written  for CPPM 6.2.0 and greater.

 

 

Navigate to  Administration > Server Manager > Messaging Setup on CPPM

  • Gmail SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com
  • Gmail SMTP user name: Your full Gmail address (e.g. example@gmail.com)
  • Gmail SMTP password: Your Gmail password
  • Gmail SMTP port: 465
  • Gmail SMTP TLS/SSL required: yes
Login to Clear Pass Guest and navigate to " Home » Configuration » Email Receipt "and test this configuration by sending a test email.
