Sponsor approval link in the email does not work on CPPM

Question : Guest approval email sent to Sponsor does not work. when Sponsor clicks on the approval URL, it does not gets redirected to the correct page.

Environment Information : This applies to CPPM 6.2 and above

 

Resolution  : Login to Clear Pass Guest module and navigate to " Home » Configuration » Print Templates" and edit the "Sponsorship Confirmation" template.


Scroll down to the notes section and replace the code with the code shown below.

A visitor has requested access naming you as the sponsor.  Please <a href="https://<IP of CPPM>/guest/guest_register_confirm.php?{if $u.source}gsr_id={$u.source|rawurlencode}&{/if}token={$u.register_token|rawurlencode}" target="_blank">click here</a> to confirm or reject the request.

Once we save and apply, the "Click Here" link will navigate Sponsor to the correct page.





The page will be redirected to the below after Clicking on the active link as shown above.




In a Publisher / Subscriber model, the link for confirmation MUST always be to the publisher. Edit the Sponsorship Confirmation print template and adjust the code to point to your publisher.
