Upgrading IntroSpect Analyzer from UI

Aug 05, 2020 12:44 AM

Q:

What are the steps to upgrade Aruba IntroSpect Analyzer from UI?

A:

Initiating the upgrade of Aruba IntroSpect Analyzer is very easy process. Once we know the exact version with build number of Aruba IntroSpect version we need to upgrade to, you can login to the UI and run the upgrade process.

1. First we need to ensue that the Server has Internet access to download from Aruba IntroSpect Repository in cloud(http://bits.introspect.arubanetworks.com).

2. Now, navigate to the Analyzer > Configuration > Cluster > Software Update. Put the version along with the build id. Then hit Upgrade Now. You could refer the example below:

3. To verify the status of the upgrade, you could login to the CLI as root and tail for /var/log/analyzer-upgrade.log

# tailf /var/log/analyzer-upgrade.log

You should be able to see the logs below for successful upgrade:
