AP-65 Reboot reason - Out of memory

I am seeing this message in the system log of controllers. Does anyone see this happening and what is the reason. Is this an overloaded table problem?

Please open a case with technical support so that they can get to the root of the issue.

Re: AP-65 Reboot reason - Out of memory

I have not really ever deployed AP-65s in bulk, we have mostly 125s and 105s. But I have a site with a 3600 and 50ish 65s and I am seeing these reboots like crazy. The controller is running 5.0.2.1.

Re: AP-65 Reboot reason - Out of memory

Hi dennyg,

I've had opened a similar case for a problem that I saw in 3.4.3.0 and 3.4.3.1. For me, this problem was fixed in 3.4.3.2.

I had a meeting with a senior TAC engineer last week and asked him if the rebooting issues from 3.4.3.0 and 3.4.3.1 were still in the 5.0 train. I was told that 5.0.3.0 incorporated those changes.

Also, you can run the following command from the CLI of the controller where the AP is connected:

show ap debug system-status ap-name ""

TAC will ask you for this output and it should confirm what you're seeing on your syslog server.

Hope this helps!
