AMP with Cisco WLC5500

Anyone here able to monitor/manage Cisco WLC5500 controllers with AMP?? I have tried to put 2 in AMP and it never seems to connect to them. My 2100's and 4400's connect to AMP with no problem.

We have support for 5500s

We do support those (and have since at least our 6.4.7 version).

Have you verified that the snmp credentials AMP is using are correct? You can see what we're using by clicking on the View Credentials link on the device's Manage page.

If you think those are the correct credentials, a good next step is to test them from the AMP's command line. For snmpv2, this works:

# s2w

# s2w public sysName

or for snmpv3, you can do this:

# s3w

# s3w 55

Re: AMP with Cisco WLC5500

I have two of these set up on my lab amp. I initially set them up via snmpv3 on cisco's 6.0 code and had no issues.

They are currently setup with 7.0 beta code and still working and even able to add the device as new and import the config.

I'd verify you have the 6.4.7 version of code or later like Dan said and test the SNMP walk.
