Aruba Switch fail tunneled node mode to Aruba Controller

Hi Everyone,

I have did the Aruba Switch tunneled node to Aruba Controller, When enter "Show tunnel-node Stat" it show that "no-start" mean down.

I had notice that Aruba Controller under "Configuration>Network>Port" have a option also call Tunneled Node Mode but by default is disable. I have try to turn it on but when i turn on that interface will down, cannot up.

It is Aruba Switch when in tunneled node mode, then Aruba Controller need additional interface and configure as "tunneled node mode"? So that Aruba Switch can tunnel to Aruba controller. Currently my controller is running OS

Please advise.

Thanks & Regards,

Re: Aruba Switch fail tunneled node mode to Aruba Controller

From the release notes:

"ArubaOS does not support tunneled-node with the S3500.
Workaround: Best practices recommend that you do not upgrade to this release if your topology includes a S3500. ArubaOS 6.1.1.x supports tunneled-node with the S3500."

Please back-rev your controller for it to support tunneled node, for now. Quite frankly, I just saw this myself. Sorry about that.
