Change Default Role for Untrusted Wired Port

Version 2.5.4.14

When I connect a laptop to an untrusted port on the controller, the client is given the a role of "logon" prior to authenticating. I would like to change this default user role. Does anyone know how to do this?

Re: Change Default Role for Untrusted Wired Port

I'm pretty sure (99%) that what you ask cannot be done in 2.5 code. You can do this in 3.3 code, but it affects all untrusted wired ports and you can't do them individually.

The individual part (where you can make 1 interface one role and another interface another role) is coming up in upcoming ArubaOS releases.

Thanks for the info. Not ready to upgrade to 3.3 on this controller. I've modified the "logon" role to fit my needs as a workaround.
