Another question, if we do go from 3.3.2.11 to a 5.0.x image:

How are PEF licenses converted to PEFNG licenses? That is, how are the users on the PEF license converted to AP's in the PEFNG license?

In general, the number of PEFNG licenses you end up with upon upgrade is whatever is more: The number of AP licenses on the box, or the PEF licenses divided by 16.

For example if you have a pre-5.0 controller with 16 AP licenses and a PEF-128 licences, you will end up with LIC-16-AP and LIC-PEFNG-16, because 16 is more than 128/16 (8).
