Re: Lost of pings in 802.11b/g connection

Let us know how and when this gets resolved. There are a number of things that cause the issue you mention; sometimes in combination, but for each person the solution is individual.

Re: Lost of pings in 802.11b/g connection

We have still been working with TAC.

Interesting side note, they aren't sure at the moment but we have also been seeing issues with Android clients using the hacked B&N nooks v2.3.3. It will connect and populate the station table but until it pings the network or the controller pings it the device does not show up in the user table. They thought it might be the device type fingerprinting but we tried with it disabled and still the same. All other devices populate both tables.

If I get any answers I will let you know.

I turned off ARP spoofing and we still have the same issue.

Re: Lost of pings in 802.11b/g connection

Please continue to work with TAC, then, and report on your progress. They have much more info about your situation than we do on this forum.

Thank you.

Re: Lost of pings in 802.11b/g connection

Hi again.

Just to give final info about our last tests. Downgrading OS version to 6.1.1.0 solved us the problem of lost of pings in 802.11g connections. We kept 2 ping to 2 terminals with same features and the ping was perfect in equipment connected via 802.11b and 802.11g. This is somenthing we didn´t get with 6.1.2.3 version. We´ll start to downgrade Os version in all the controller of our customer.

Hope somebody could find this helpfull.

Thanks everybody for replies.

Re: Lost of pings in 802.11b/g connection

Hi

even i am facing the same issue with g clients. Butwith "a" clients there are no ping drops.

Controller is running on the version 6.2.1.4.

solution is to downgrade it ??

Thanks

No, the solution is to open a case, because everyone's problems are not always the same, expecially if they are two years old, like this thread.
