Multi Association

I'v got a question from a customer, asking about the option "Multi Association" under virtual ap and i could'nt really give him a good answer and i didn't find anything in the usersmanual. Does anyone know?

Re: Multi Association

Short easy answer: Don't use it. This was a feature that used to be called "fast-roaming" that was renamed in 3.4 to discourage people from turning it on. It was used for a specific model of Cisco VoIP phone several years ago, and allows a client device to maintain multiple associations with different APs - the Cisco phone needed this behavior to improve roaming performance. It normally causes problems these days, so it's best left turned off.
