Multiple Access Point Modes

Hi all,

Currently we are running Aruba at our HQ and remote access points at branch offices with both corporate and guest access profiles. Both profiles use Tunneling and obtain an IP address from the HQ subnet (where the controllers are located). What I would like to do is to change the corporate profile to use bridging, so that the wireless clients obtain a local IP address from the branh office subnet, but keep the guest access as tunnelled, as it is on different IP range completely, and I don't want to put additional routes in place at the branch offices.

Does anyone see any issue with this, or have any advice?

Many thanks in advance!

Re: Multiple Access Point Modes

This is fairly straightforward if you are using ArubaOS 5.x and above.

Please see here:

You would ONLY change the forwarding mode on the Virtual AP for corporate users.
