RF-optimization-profile features

I am looking at configuring an rf-optimization-profile to try to bring about better performance for particular clients.
I would like to know what the 'Detect Association Failure' feature does exactly.
Upon detecting excessive association failures by a client, what event is triggered? Is it simply a logging event or does this bring about other changes, such as rf parameters like power increase etc?

If my post is helpful please give kudos, or mark as solved if it answers your post.

Association Failure

Unfortunately, it only logs it.
