Hi All,

Can someone tell me what version of AOS supports VLAN pooling?

Re: VLAN pooling

I see, thanks. What if I wanted to assign a 'User Role' more than one VLAN? It seems I am limited to choosing one VLAN.

Can I apply a 'user role' and 'vlan pool' under a AAA profile, or am I limited to one or the other?? Thanks again!

Assign a role

If you assign a user role without specifying a VLAN, it will take a "pooled" vlan.

Re: VLAN pooling

What Colin is trying to say. If you define a VLAN Pool at the Virtual AP level then the defined Role, per AAA policy, will leverage that VLAN Pool if you leave the VLAN field empty within the Role. If you must set a VLAN at the Role level you are currently stuck with a single VLAN.

Solution

It has been that way for quite some time. The question is, what problem are you trying to solve?
