about captive portal

I have some problem about captive portal.
The topo is :

the notobook and AP is in the same network :, their gateway ip address is Aruba AC's interface vlan 1. And I make nat inside in vlan 1.

There are two interface vlan in Aruba AC, one is vlan 1, another is interface vlan 2 . AC's default gateway is

When I finish the config , I link to the ssid, and the captive portal page can not pop.

I v a question is that, If I set NAT in vlan 1, whether there is something defferent in the captive portal?

- Can the client resolve DNS?
- Can the Aruba Controller ping the DNS server?

Re: about captive portal

After I set the defaut role from "logon" to "authenticated", I can visit the Internet.
Before I set the role, I can ping the Internet IP address, but can not ping the domain name.
