    Hi,

Actually I have an issue while trying to configure AP-365RW to Aruba Central.

I have already added the device in Inventory on Central but it is not appearing on same.

And when I connect to SetMeUp, I'm redirected to the Virtual Controller UI.

    Can you help & advise

Does the AP365 have access to the Internet? It will need a working DNS also assigned to the AP365 as well. Have you also assigned a subscription to the device in Central as well?

Run the below to confirm if the AP365 can reach Central.

Yeah, it is showing as local-mgmt. Are you able to provide the output of show log provision? Also what is the firmware version you are running on the AP365? There was a notification that certain IAPs shipped with Certificates which may have expired and will fail to connect to Central.

You've hit the cert issue as mentioned, upgrade the firmware to a supported version.

I checked my other AP firmware version and downloaded same & it WORKED!!

By the way, is there any chance that Aruba AP upgrades by itself, because the other ones, I did not need to upgrade them and on central I could see they were already on version 8.6.0.5.

    Many thanks buddy. ✌

If they are part of the same broadcast domain and and of the same class, they will upgrade automatically. You can always configure firmware compliance to ensure that all APs are running a required version.

And glad it is all sorted now
