    we have currently 7210 controller running at 6.X OS and we need to upgrade the following controller .

    Hi , Once migrated to OS8.X , Still it can be used as Master- Local Setup and terminate the APs

    Are the existing license also migrated from OS6.X to OS8.X ?

    You can still use Master/Local in AOS8 however if a Mobility Master is available then you should consider using Clustering instead. Take a look at the fundamentals guide, it is an excellent resource
