Slide 25 mentions clipping the lower data rates on 2.4GHz.  I assume this is referring to the 802.11b data rates?  Also, can you provide any more information about the basic and transmit rates, i.e explaining what setting basic rates to only 5 and 6 does?

In the example, it is intended to improve roaming for voice handsets.  Not all clients like this, so you need to ask your phone manufacturer.


This is definitely not a replacment for a properly designed WLAN network.

Well, that's no bueno.  I didn't realize the heading stated VoWiFi and implemented the changes last night.  I thought it was simply for removing 802.11b rates.
