Configuring OpenDNS Web Filtering

  • The advanced features of OpenDNS Enterprise, such as Web filtering and security, are set and managed online through the OpenDNS Dashboard. These settings are applied to your network and are subsequently inherited by all of the desktops, laptops, tablets and other mobile devices connecting to the network.
  • The attached guide explains how to add new networks to your OpenDNS Dashboard and configure your security and filtering settings. Remember, after making any changes to your OpenDNS settings, we recommend that you clear your DNS cache to ensure that the new settings are made effective. To do this, see Clearing the DNSCache.
