Q:

How to limit the number of concurrent CLI login sessions?

A:

From AOS 8.2.2.0/8.3.0.2 and later, a check is added to limit the number of concurrent CLI sessions that an administrator account can maintain. If the admin user tries to create a new session after the maximum concurrent user sessions limit is reached, then the system displays an error message and does not allow the user to login although the login credentials entered are valid.

Note: This option can be configured from CLI only.

Configuration:

(MM) [mynode] (config) #mgmt-user test root max-concurrent-sessions 1
Password:********
Re-Type Password:********
(MM) ^[mynode] (config) #write memory
Saving Configuration...
Configuration Saved.

(MM) [mynode] #show mgmt-user
