Controller Based WLANs

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba OS 6.3.1.7 and above.

Prior to AOS 6.3.1.7, when both DMO and broadcast-filter all (Drop Broadcast and Multicast) were enabled in the virtual-ap the incoming multicast traffic from controller's uplink will be dropped and it will not reach the wireless clients.

Starting from AOS 6.3.1.7, multicast forwarding logic has been changed to so that incoming multicast traffic from controller's uplink will not be dropped and it will reach the wireless clients.
