Controller Based WLANs

Product and Software: This article applies to all ArubaOS.

VIA detects if it is attached to a trusted and network and avoids activating tunnel (IPsec/SSL if IPsec fails).

Detection performed by attempting http/https HEAD request to the provisioned internal/private IP address of the Aruba Controller.

If VIA_SESSION set included, then attached to trusted otherwise, VIA initiates tunnel (IPsec/SSL if IPsec fails).
