How does the aruba controller decide on BAND color code under voice call-quality outputs?

Environment  :  This article applies to Aruba Mobility Controllers.

 

For the ease of monitoring voice quality, Aruba Controller categorize voice calls with BAND, with values such as (Green/Yellow/Red)
 

Below shown is screenshot for "show voice call-quality":

Here is controller comes to a conclusion of BAND color code:
 
 
R-Value >= 80 :   Green
 
R-Value >= 60 and <80 :  Yellow
 
R-Value >= 0 and < 60 :  Red


R-value / R-factor:
 
The R-value is a measure of voice quality ranging from a best case of 100 to a worst case of 0. The parameters included in the computation of the R-Factor are fairly extensive, covering factors such as echo, background noise, signal loss, codec impairments and others. R-Factor is a technical version of the MOS score…whereas MOS score is subjective rating based what the end user hear. R-value uses technical data to come up with the number
