Installing VIA on Linux

Installing VIA on Linux

 

Pre-requisites

 

- Make sure you un-install previously installed VIA versions before installing a VIA package. For information on the un-installation steps

 

- Ensure the system is up-to- date.

 

- Execute the following commands for Ubuntu:

 

sudo apt-get update

 

sudo apt-get upgrade

 

- Execute the following command for CentOS:

 

yum update

 

 

 

 

 

Procedure:-

 

Perform the following steps to install VIA on a Linux platforms:

 

1.Download the installer file from the support site. 
support.arubanetworks.com

 

2.Double-click on the installer file.

 

3.Follow the instructions specific to the Linux platform that you are using and complete the installation.

 

 

 

Note : We cannot download the file from the controller so please download the binary file from the support website
