Q:
This article provide us the differentiator to SDN API as compared to Lync call classified using media classification or heuristics. It also contains the the matrix of features available on SDN API but not on Lync Heuristics
1. With Heuristics, visibility(CDRs) and prioritization to desktop-sharing and file-transfer is not supported. With SDN API based Lync ALG, desktop-sharing and file-transfer are supported, CDRs are available and sessions are prioritized.
2. When Lync call is prioritized using heuristics the End-to-End call quality such as MOS, end-to-end delay, jitter and packet-loss are not available. With SDN API, End-to-End Quality parameters are received from SDN API.
