Q:

How to reload specific device/MD from MM?

A:

Use this command to reboot a managed device if required after making configuration changes or under the guidance of Aruba Networks customer support. The reload command powers down the managed device, making it unavailable for configuration. After the managed device reboots, you can access it over a local console connected to the serial port, or through an SSH, Telnet, or WebUI session.

#reload <device-mac>

Example:

^[mm] #reload 00:50:56:9f:ac:9e
Device will be reloaded. Press 'y' to proceed : [y/n]: y

Once the Managed device comes back online after the reload, the reboot reason will be "Master Initiated Reboot."

#show switchinfo  | include Reboot

Reboot Cause: Master Initiated Reboot.

Config ID: 329

Boot Partition: PARTITION 0
Reboot Cause: Master Initiated Reboot.
