Introduction : For communication between Lync server and Controller, configuration needs to be done both on the controller & Lync server.

Feature Notes : By means of Lync alg Controller is tighly bound with Lync server and the traffic classification is deterministic rather than just predictive. This provides accurate Voice quality metric to the controller.

Environment : Lync Voice, Video and File transfer applications are used in customer setup.

Network Topology : Controller ---- AP------ Laptop (Lync client)

Configuration Steps : To configure integration with the Lync server:

lync int

Answer : Controller IP address and port number have to configured on the Lync server.
