Which CLI command shows the user’s connection speed and the number of packets that have been sent or received?

Jul 03, 2014 12:45 PM

Product and Software: This article applies to all Aruba controllers and ArubaOS 3.3.2.x and later.

If the user has slow connectivity, run this command to check at what speed the user is connected:

(Aruba200) #show ap debug client-table ap-name onyx-office-point

HT Flags: A - LDPC Coding; W - 40Mhz; S - Short GI; M - Max A-MSDU

          D - Delayed BA; G - Greenfield; R - Dynamic SM PS

          Q - Static SM PS; N - A-MPDU disabled

To determine what rates are being used, look at the client stats. Issue the "show ap debug client-stats <client-mac>" command to shows the number of packets that have been sent or received from a client at different PHY rates.

Example

(Aruba200) #show ap debug client-stats 90:84:0d:62:dd:0b
