This article talks about manually adding a device on Aruba Activate.
Below are the steps to add the device to Activate.
1: Bring the IAP up on Network and make sure it has connectivity to "device.arubanetworks.com"
2: Once the IAP is up, login to GUI and go to maintenance tab.
Make a note of Cloud Activation key and the the MAC of the Device.
NOTE: We would not see the Cloud Activation key in this tab if IAP cannot reachDevice.arubanetworks.com
3: Login to Activate (https://activate.arubanetworks.com) with a valid username and password.
4: Click on Add devices on the home page
Clicking on "Add Device" will open a new popup as shown below.
Enter the values what we collected in step 2, make sure that the MAC is entered in Upper Case.
Once we enter the details, We would see the device on Activate in Shipped state. We can then provision it to folders.
