Q: Does Aruba Central show recommended firmware version for Instant APs and Mobility Switches?
A: Yes, Aruba central recommends IAP version and switch version that the current devices should be running on. Anything less than this version is not suggested and managing those devices may experience a slow response or could lead to compatibility issue. At the same time, one can have devices running on higher versions then the recommendation made here..
Where in the GUI, does Aruba Central shows the recommended versions ?
Follow these steps:
1. Login to Aruba Central account and click on "All Groups"
2. Select "Maintenance" and then click on "Firmware'
In the top-right corner, you would see the recommended version for Instant Access Points. But, if you click on "Switch" tab then recommended version for Switch is also seen
