How do I configure MAC authentication on an Instant AP with Internal Server?
Product and Software: This article applies to all Instant APs and Aruba Instant 22.214.171.124-126.96.36.199 and later.
From Aruba Instant 188.8.131.52-184.108.40.206 code, Internal Server can be used to do MAC authentication. When the Internal Server is enabled, the MAC addresses should be added as employee accounts. For the username and password, use the MAC address in raw hex format without any delimiters.
Note: As shown in the next figure, when Internal Server is used as Authentication Server, there is no option to set up a secondary Authentication server.
