How do I save and restore configuration on IAP-105?

Jul 04, 2014 04:47 PM

Question:  How do I save and restore configuration on IAP-105?

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba Instant 6.1.2.3.

Any configuration changes made are saved automatically when you click OK in the virtual controller.
To save the configuration on a workstation, follow these steps:
1) Open the tftp software on the workstation.
2) Access the CLI of IAP and issue this command:

#copy config tftp <tftp ip> <file name>

Whenever this command is issued, due to the keyword "config", IAP pushes the saved configuration to the workstation onto a file with specified filename.

To restore the saved configuration to the IAP, issue these commands:
#copy tftp <tftp ip> <file name> system config
#Reload
