Controller-less WLANs

We could configure the Bandwidth contact for per role/user based whereas in earlier released bandwidth contracted accounted both for upstream and downstream traffic. Bandwidth contract helps administrator to limit the bandwidth utilization and distribute bandwidth between users.

Product and Software: This article applies to Instant version 4.0 and above

Security > Roles > Select Role > Under Access Rules Click “New” > Rule type “Bandwidth Contract”

Enter Downstream and Upstream bandwidth in Kbps

NOTE: If you select per user, then per user have x bandwidth (for all applications), else it will be for whole role and all the user per AP will share it.
