How to verify if the APs report there current, average, minimum and maximum power consumption values to the cloud?



A:

The newer APs (starting with 335 and 315) offer the capability to measure the total power consumption of the AP regardless of whether it came from Giga Eth1/2, or DC power.

New CLI command “show aps power-monitor” has been added for the verification.

  • After getting these values, they will be sent to master via PAPI message and finally these information will save in basic ap info and sent to Cloud. 

Using command below we can verify the outcome send to the cloud.

show log sta-stat-to-cloud
