Is the tunnel keep-alives are bidirectional?

Mar 29, 2017 02:30 PM

Q:

Is the tunnel keep-alives are bidirectional?

A:

IAP generates a periodic ICMP packet as a keep-alive mechanism. This packet is just 96 bytes and send through the tunnel. Keep-alives are bi-directional i.e. IAP sends the request (ICMP request) and controller responses (ICMP response) through the tunnel.
