What is the time an IAP cluster would take to report the status on central after assigning licenses?



A:

Aruba Central is a web portal that monitors and manages Instant Access Point clusters, provided the licenses are assigned to the IAPs.  It is the Master of the cluster who negotiates a dialog with central and updates the status of the cluste.  Slave IAPs in the cluster, do not connect to central.

Once the licenses are assigned on Central, it would take a minimum of 5 mins for IAPs to start showing as UP on central.
