May 17, 2016 07:04 PM

Q:

Why DRP config is not pushed to IAP when its enabled through Aruba Central?

A:

We could see config error in the central when DRP config is pushed through Aruba Central as shown below:

DRP is enabled through Central:

Config error which is highlighted below:

In the IAP CLI we can see the DRP config is not pushed as shown below:

Master IP Address   *:192.168.134.18

IP Address           :192.168.134.18

Netmask              :255.255.254.0

Gateway              :192.168.134.1

NameServer           :192.168.39.180

NameServer           :192.168.39.6

DNSDomain            :ki.com

Master Key           :0349b686017b0cdb94e1e6a7677e0235a27f5d697f79f3c760

Elected Time         :1m:59s

Dynamic Radius Proxy :disable   <===========================

NTP Server           :120.88.46.10

Configuration Dirty  :disable

Allow New APs        :enable

Classification       :disable

Wireless Containment :disable

Solution:

To resolved this issue, its required to disable DRP first and remove VC IP address.

Configure with different VC IP and enabled DRP which will fix this issue.

If the VC IP address is assigned to other device my mistake, the config cannot be pushed from the Aruba Central.

After assigning new VC Ip address there is no config error as shown below:
