Why does "Subscription Keys" and "Device Management" options are grayed out in my Aruba Central account?

Environment         This article applies to Aruba Central.


On Aruba Central, option come two category. One group specific and the other is global account specific. "Subscription Keys" and "Device Management"  options fall under global options.

"Subscription Keys" is where we see the available licenses in the Aruba Central account and "Device Management" is where we assign licenses to the devices that are managed by Central.

These two being global options they are enabled only when a user is in "All Groups". As shown below:




"Subscription Keys" and "Device Management"  options will be grayed out, if you are in a specific group. As shown below:




If you are in any of the configured groups, a single click on "All Groups" will enable all the global options
