Re: 105 slow after firmware upgrade to 6.1.3.4-3.1.0.0_35320

You can ask whoever you are dealing with in support, but please make sure that your files are emailed to whoever you are dealing with so that they have the most current version of your information.

We do not want the resolution to your issue to be delayed.

I am working with Vasanth Selvaraj on this case so hopefully we should be able to resolve the issue. I spoke to him today and he has seen the images I uploaded. I am waiting to hear back from him shortly I hope.

Re: 105 slow after firmware upgrade to 6.1.3.4-3.1.0.0_35320

Chris,

Thank you for providing the login details to your IAP. I tried to login to the webUI through Internet Explorer and did not observe the CPU spike.

As soon as I switched to Google Chrome, I saw the CPU spike.

Could you please let us know which browser you are using?
Thanks,

Re: 105 slow after firmware upgrade to 6.1.3.4-3.1.0.0_35320

OK, this is pretty wierd. It would appear that the reason that the CPU on the IAP is maxing out is because the browser used is Chrome! I have carried out a number of tests and they bear this out. (See below)

I am doing OmniPeek captures to see if I can get a handle on why the browser should have such a dramatic impact on the performance of the AP. I suspect it is due to traffic between the browser and the web server.

Can others test this out?

Re: 105 slow after firmware upgrade to 6.1.3.4-3.1.0.0_35320

There is a new version of instant code, 6.1.3.4_3101.  I would try that version to see if the issue still exists in that code.

No go....soon as you connect with Chrome, the interface slows to a crawl and CPU spikes.
