Is it possible to do a AAA test from the VC on an IAP. Trying to setup a 802.1x SSID and it's not working. Not sure if you can test like you can on a real controller.

Use the "aaa test-server" command from the CLI

Cool thanks. How do you access the CLI on those? Tried SSH1, SSH2 and telnet.

You should be able to just SSH to the VC address. Do you have any firewall rules blocking SSH access?

ssh / telnet is turned off by default i believe, at least then the AP has come from earlier version when ssh wasn't even possible.

you can enable it under System > General after turned on advanced options.

PAP is the only method currently.

@pmonardo - Sorry to bring back an old thread, but wanted to check...

If we can't use PAP (only PEAP or MSChap), is there a different test command we can use on the IAP VC?

Or is there no way to test those EAP types?
