AMON and Client Match on IAP?

  • 1.  AMON and Client Match on IAP?

    Hi,

     

    1. Is AMON supported on IAP with latest OS?

    2. I have Client Match enabled on both the IAP and Airwave but still nothing collected on Airwave (v8.0.6.1). The Client Match report is empty.

    AMON is currently not supported on the IAP platform.

    You will find the match events on the VC dashboard

    I can see some level of information for Client Match on VC dashboard for certain client. But what about airwave? It just show no match event, like screenshot.Capture.PNG I plan to use Airwave for all the management, monitoring and reporting.

    You will Amon to get that information .
    You might be able to get that through SNMP traps not 100% sure

    Okey, so Client Match feature depends on AMON?

     

    I tried SNMP via Airwave by selecting No for "Prefer AMON vs SNMP Polling" under AMP General setting, Additional AMP Services section. I also updated the credentials section of SNMPV2c for Device Setup. But doesnot seem like anything is changing for the Match event table under client on Airwave.

    As Victor mentioned, AMON is not supported on the IAP platform therefore if you select prefer AMON vs SNMP, you still won't see any data because IAPs will not send AMON to Airwave.

    There does not seem to be any snmp traps that include match events.

    Thanks. I guess is AMON on roadmap for the IAP?
