    Hi,

I was after some assitance with joing an AP to a virtual controller.

Im currently trying to add a AP305 running  6.5.4.3_61959. to a virtual controller.

The VC is a mesh of AP205's running  6.5.4.14_72510

I am currently getting an AP alert - AP register fail because of image mismatch.

Can someone please tell me what version of the firmware I need to put on the 305 to get it to join the VC?

    Thanks in Advance.

Upgrade your VC greater than New APs Firmware. else you can downgrade new AP lesser than Aruba VC.

When you want to join a new AP type to an existing cluster, make sure the firmwares match exactly up to the build number. Upgrading the 305 to 6.5.4.14_72510 sounds most logical. Please make sure you have the AP up on a separate network in order to access the WebUI to do the upgrade.
