Adding Guest password on Instant

I am new to Aruba Instant. I set up three AP-315s on instant, and it went very quickly and easily. In addition to my primary network, I set up a guest network. For this guest network, how do I (1) add password protection (most important), and (2) diable the spash page?

If I cannot add password protection, is there a simple way to set up another Employee network and isolate it from the first, yet still provide Internet access. I searched on all of this and could not find an answer.

Thanks!

Re: Adding Guest password on Instant

So it looks like you want to configre a PSK network? if that is the case edit your SSID and go to the Security Tab for the SSID you want to change.

Under this table set 'Splash page type' to None

Then set the 'Encryption' type Enabled, select your key managment, WPA2-Personal for PSK, and enter your passphrase. Save the profile, and you should be good to go.

If you want to make sure the guest are sperated from corporate nework, under the 'Access Tab' set it to Network-Based, and configure ACLs to block traffic into your corporate subnets.

Cool, thanks! One clarification. When you say "If you want to make sure the guest are sperated from corporate nework, under the 'Access Tab' set it to Network-Based, and configure ACLs to block traffic into your corporate subnets," do I configure those settings for the Guest or for the Enterprise network?

Re: Adding Guest password on Instant

You want to put the ACL on the guest network to control what guest users can do. Also under the WLAN settings go to advanced options and enabled deny inter user traffic if you don't want guests to talk to each other directly.
