AirWave RAM usage - Kernel cache

    Hi all,

I'm seeing the kernel cache is consuming high ram usage and the free memory is less than a gigs in average.

Would it be safe for another 1000 new devices expansion or turning on VisualRF in future?

Will Airwave free up the RAM from kernel cache for other processes and does it make any impact if kernel cache is using lesser RAM?

    thanks.

The status of "cached" for that memory is linux-speak for "ready to use as needed" (for the most part).

You needn't worry about that parameter as your device-count grows.

so kernel cache is part of free memory right?

Effectively true - not technically "free" since the kernel has it, but that's true of all memory.

    It's a definition thing.
