    I am using Solarwinds to monitor my Aruba 135 controller.  Doing an SNMP walk results in this:

    .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "ArubaOS Version 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.3"
    .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0 = OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.1.2.48
    .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 = TIMETICKS: 1925998
    .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4.0 = STRING: ""
    .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5.0 = STRING: "9c:1c:12:c5:65:60"

    Bur Solarwinds says it is looking for this:

    RolewlsxSwitchRole1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.1.1.4
    HostNamewlsxSysExtHostname1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.2.1.2
    ModelNamewlsxSysExtModelName1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.2.1.3

    What can I do to monitor my device?

     I am monitoring the static IP of the device and am at ArubaOS Version 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.3.

    Please upgrade to 4.1+ as SNMP has been fixed in this version.

    This post covers snmpwalking

    How do I upgrade to 4.1?  My Aruba says I can go from 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.3_39227 to 6.3.1.8-4.0.0.7_44641.   Is this it?

    If you have a support account you can download the firmware from support.arubanetworks.com.

    If not, 4.1 has not made it to the cloud as of yet.
    I suggest upgrading to 4.0.0.7 and it may give you the option of 4.1, your firmware just may be too old.

    Let me see if my IAP with an older firmware gives me the option to upgrade to 4.1

    There are two ways you can do upgrades -- the first is using the cloud upgrade servers like you showed and the second is to log into the TAC website and manually download SW (requires an account).

    The cloud typically lags several months behind the releases posted to TAC.

    So after upgrading my IAP to 4.0.0.7, there is no new version available.

    What is interesting though is that IAPs on 4.1.0.0 see a new version in the cloud which is 4.1.1.0.

    So if you're not already on 4.1, you need to download from the support site, if you are on 4.1, then you can download the latest from the cloud

    Aha!   Thank you.  One last stupid question, and I appreciate everyone's patience, where are the instructions for doing the upgrade?  I looked in teh release notes PDF and did not find them.
