    Hi All,

     

    We have Aruba Instant APs with Central.

    We would like to allocate bandwidth to the users based on the AD Accounts.

    Is this something we could achieve?

    I watched a video that it could be done with Aruba Clearpass.

    In your roles, you can assign different BW limits.

    If you have an option, go for ClearPass. A neat solution and day to day monitoring/troubleshooting will be a lot easier.

    Could you please share a document on how to install/configure Aruba Clearpass from scratch? and then link it to IAP on Central?

    Also, any configuration example for what we would like to achieve?

    Assuming you are installing it on a vmware  environment, you can refer to the following link:

    I would recommend contacting the local Aruba partner. They should be able to help you with the POC or any configuration help you may need. Depending on your requirements, they should be able to help you with the right HW scaling and licensing information.
