Aruba Instant Upgrade with URL

    Hi all,

    I am about to upgrade an aruba instant implementation consisting of Aruba 205 and 275 APs. By going to Maintenance -> Firmware tab the only available option is to use manual URL option. I observed that in our office where we have only Aruba 205 APs there is one more option available in order to insert the image file. Does anyone know why is this happening ?

    Moreover I would like to ask you if there is any available aruba http server so as to directly put the appropriate url links on the fields.

    Hi,

     

    Only optionin cluster is need to manually past the URL of individula model firmware codes to ugprade the cluster.

    Browse to file is only available where a cluster only has a single class of APs.  With two or more classes of APs in a cluster, you have to setup a tftp, ftp or http server to upgrade the cluster:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Instant_423_WebHelp/InstantWebHelp.htm#UG_files/IAP_maintenance/Firmware_Image_Server_in.htm?Highlight=upgrade
