    hello airheads,

    does anyone know if there is a way of using Clearpass (with TACACS) of authenticating management users and passing back either an admin role or a read only role.

    Yes you can.

    There's two available TACACS enforcement default profiles in ClearPass
    - [Aruba TACACS root access]
    - [Aruba TACACS read access]

    You can send either based on the conditions you set in your enforcement policy

    thanks for getting back.

    i have already tried that but each time the users can get in with full admin rights.

    Make sure you enable session authorization in the TACACS server profile in the Instant Config
